How much does it cost to hire a performer?
Pricing varies based on the act selected, event duration, location, staffing needs, and setup requirements. Because each event is unique, we provide custom quotes following a consultation call. During that conversation, we review your venue, audience size, timeline, and vision to recommend the right entertainment package for your event.
What is the booking process?
The process begins with an inquiry form or scheduled consultation call. . During that call, we discuss your event details and explore entertainment options that fit your space and goals. After you receive a proposal and approve your selections, a contract and deposit secure your date. Leading up to the event, we coordinate logistics, venue requirements, and timeline placement to ensure seamless execution.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. All pricing is outlined clearly in your proposal. Additional fees may apply only when specific needs are involved, such as travel outside the Raleigh Triangle area, early arrival for rigging, specialty assistants, or extended performance time. These are always discussed in advance.
What if my event is canceled?
Cancellation policies are outlined in your contract and vary based on timing. If unforeseen circumstances arise, we will communicate clearly about next steps and available options. We recommend reviewing your venue and event insurance policies as part of your overall event planning.
Do you carry performer insurance?
Yes. Dakota Fox Entertainment maintains performer liability insurance. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, we can provide documentation upon request.
Who performs at the events?
Dakota personally performs at the majority of events and also works with a curated team of trusted performers. Every performer is selected for professionalism, experience, and alignment with Dakota Fox Entertainment standards. You will always know who is scheduled for your event in advance.
What are the costuming options?
Costumes are either custom designed, professionally sourced, or modified to fit specific themes and branding needs. Many looks can be adjusted to align with your event color palette or aesthetic. During your consultation, we review costuming options that best fit your venue and audience.
What if I am not sure what I need?
That is exactly what the consultation is for. Many clients know they want entertainment but are unsure how to integrate it into their timeline. We will guide you through options, suggest placement ideas, and help you build a cohesive entertainment experience.
What if I need additional services you do not offer?
If you require services outside of our offerings, we may be able to refer trusted partners within the industry. We frequently collaborate with other professionals and can help point you in the right direction when possible.
Do you offer charity or pro bono performances?
We consider select community and nonprofit opportunities based on availability and alignment. Please include full event details in your inquiry so we can review your request.
