Dakota Fox is easy to find in a crowd – just look out for purple hair & a large personality! With a wide range of movement modalities under her belt, Dakota looks forward to helping you bring a little extra flair to your next event or loved ones’ celebration.

Never one to follow the crowd, Dakota has always lived loudly and pursued her passions deeply & fully. She graduated from NC State University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. She was hired straight out of a college to work as a law enforcement officer and attended police academy in Wilson, NC. During her time as a police officer, Dakota served numerous roles for her department including field training officer, honor guard, first-line investigator, general instructor, as well as a specialized physical tactics instructor.

While working a career in law enforcement, Dakota became involved in the world of aerial acrobatics & pole dance fitness. She still owns & operates Aradia Fitness in Cary, NC which opened in 2007. After nearly a decade of being both a small business owner and full-time law enforcement officer, Dakota made the difficult decision to transition to a life as a full-time business owner & special entertainment performer at the end of 2016. Only a few months later, Dakota and her husband found out they were pregnant and welcomed a baby girl into the world in December 2017.

During COVID, it felt as if the world went on hold for those in the fitness and special entertainment industry. This led to creative solutions all around, including Dakota’s newfound hobby for houseplants that quickly transitioned into a second small business of its own. In March 2021 her plant business Foxxy’s Floras & Gifts came to life, with a thriving Etsy storefront, popular set-up at pop-up markets, and a consignment store inside Painted Tree Boutiques.

Dakota may keep herself busy – but she’ll always do her best to make time for your special event!
